From Architectural Concept to Completed Facade

Follow the facade journey through performance definition, engineering, samples, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, and handover.

A finished facade is the result of hundreds of coordinated decisions. Moving from a visual concept to a reliable building envelope requires architects, engineers, suppliers, fabricators, contractors, and site teams to work from shared information.

Design development

The team defines the grid, materials, performance criteria, interfaces, movements, access, and representative details. Calculations, thermal studies, samples, and visual mock-ups refine both the appearance and the technical strategy.

Procurement and fabrication

Approved drawings and material submissions become coordinated production information. Extrusions, glass, panels, gaskets, sealants, anchors, and hardware are procured with traceability and inspected through factory quality procedures.

Testing, installation, and handover

Performance mock-ups and field tests confirm assumptions before or during installation. Survey control, sequencing, protection, inspection, cleaning, as-built records, warranties, and maintenance manuals complete the route to a facade that can be operated responsibly.
